Ways to reach us#

What to write to us about#

  • An error or an unclear passage in a [guide](/learn) or a tool page. Confirmed corrections are made, and the guide's date is updated.
  • The [API](/developers). Bugs, questions, and higher rate limits. Keys are not self-serve yet, so ask.
  • Your privacy. We do not keep a database of visitor IP addresses or personal data, so there is usually nothing to export or delete, but you can ask. See the privacy policy.
  • Linking or citing. You are welcome to link to any page, and to cite the guides. A note telling us is appreciated, not required.

Reporting a problem with an IP address#

We cannot tell you who is behind an address, and we cannot act against one. If an address is sending you spam or attacking your server, the party that can act is the network that holds it. A lookup shows the abuse contact published for it in the registry, under the WHOIS and RDAP section. Send that contact the log lines that show the problem, with times and time zones. The blocklist check shows whether the address is already known.

Reporting a security problem#

If you find a vulnerability, please report it privately through one of the channels above rather than in a public issue, and include enough detail to reproduce it.
