By using My IP Address's website or API, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
My IP Address provides IP lookup, network diagnostics, and privacy-related tools — leak testing, blacklist checks, breach checks, fingerprinting, and related utilities — for informational purposes, free of charge, with no account required for anonymous use.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to attack, scan, or harass anyone; try to get around its rate limits or access controls; scrape or resell its output at scale without permission; or use it for anything illegal where you are. We may rate-limit, block, or refuse service to any client that abuses it.
The API
The public API is offered as-is, subject to the limits described on the Developers page. We may change, throttle, or discontinue any endpoint, and will try to give notice of breaking changes when practical, but make no guarantee of stability or uptime.
Accuracy
Location, ISP, ASN, VPN/proxy/Tor, and blacklist results come from third-party data and heuristics. They're estimates, not certainties, and can be wrong, outdated, or spoofed — don't rely on them for security-critical, legal, or safety-critical decisions.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, My IP Address and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Third-party services
Some tools link to or query third-party services — see the Privacy policy for which ones. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use it after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
